From Sandvik Materials Technology to Alleima

The story of Alleima is built on more than 160 years of materials expertise, innovation and engineering excellence.
This expertise eventually became known globally through Sandvik Materials Technology — a name trusted across Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy and other critical industries for advanced stainless steels, special alloys and high-performance tubing.
For generations of engineers and customers, the Sandvik name became synonymous with premium instrumentation tubing, advanced metallurgy and reliability in demanding environments.
A New Chapter – Alleima
In 2022, Sandvik Materials Technology separated from the Sandvik Group to become an independent company. The business was renamed Alleima and listed as a standalone company on Nasdaq Stockholm on 31 August 2022.
While the name changed, the heritage did not.
Alleima carries forward the materials knowledge, manufacturing expertise, research and development capabilities and tube-production experience built over generations within Sandvik Materials Technology.
Today, Alleima continues to develop advanced stainless steels and special alloys for some of the world's most demanding applications — including Hydraulic & Instrumentation Tubing, Chemical Injection Lines, Control Lines, Subsea Umbilicals, High-Pressure Tubing, Process Tubing and Heat Exchanger Tubes.
